Tired of the cold in the North? Palm Beach, FL awaits you!

With a growing recession, the Madoff fiasco, and unemployment looming for many, doesn't the South sound better and better? Florida is a buyers market right now. But if you want to get out of the cold from the North, then why not consider a Palm Beach rental? You can live right on or near to the ocean, walking distance or a short ride to all you need. And if you work from home all the better...sit your home office facing the sea and sun! I stumbled upon this great rental site for the Palm Beach area, why not give them a buzz if you consider it? The tempature has been in the 70's all week and maybe will reach 80! Balmy breezes daily await you... I can guarantee it! ( and no, I do not have any affiliation with them... have not even met Scott, Jeffrey, or Courtney. But, if you do rent from them, please pass my name on to them and let them know!..and me too, maybe we can lunch!) You'll love it in Palm Beach!

Free Valentines Ecards at Nature Conservatory

Valentines is just around the corner... why not send your loved one... not just your spouse, or friend, but also family, and others important to you, something special... Valentine's shouldn't be a sad day for those who are single or dont have someone special in their lives. It should be a day to spread Love and encouragement to those all those around you that hold a special place in your heart! There are lots of great ecards out there. http://www.dayspring.com is a Christian, family oriented site that has great ecards. Today I came across another awesome site...https://support.nature.org/site/SPageServer?pagename=ecard_valentinesday ...while there take a good look around...its a green living site that offers alot of info on how you can make a difference. And how you can lessen your carbon footprint.

Busy working on several reviews and a new separate blog, Simply Chocolat! Just a reminder, send me your comments on the MASCARA post, and anything else about MASCARA you want to say. Manufacturers, send me YOUR MASCARA! Both myself and my team of reviewers are ready and waiting!

Just found my new evening office!...smiling, of course!

Working on product reviews and other writings and ramblings, when I stumbled upon my new dream evening office for blogging! It's a little ultra modern perhaps for some of you, but it's sooooooo cozy looking and inspiring. Couldn't wait to share it with you! Let me know what you think! And, thank you, Apartment Therapy!
ps...am still in search of the best MASCARA... and now Lash treatments as well. Will be reporting back to you as the results come in. In the meantime, why not let me know your own thoughts on that elusive search of ours!?
And just in time for Valentine's day, while I am in search of the best CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, and more CHOCOLATE...why not let me know what your favorite chocolate, brownies, or cupcakes are? One never knows...perhaps your secret angel will see and send you some!!!

In Search of the Best!

Sorry, precious readers, it's been along time since I have updated this blog. As with each of us, life happens, and sometimes our desires in writing and editing need to take a back seat. So , without further adieu, I am hoping to start working on this blog on a regular basis. Please be patient though as I am doing a lot of research, and am a real novice in the website hosting and upkeep areas. This blog, (as I am) is a work in progress. I have a great vision and high hopes though, so it will be great to have any comments along the way in the form of encouragement or advice, or even some techie help,( especially in how to insert links!) ( for which I can offer editing, or even some other life skill mentoring).

Today I want to talk about MASCARA.

Aren't we all, IN SEARCH OF THE BEST, when it comes to MASCARA. It has been a frustrating journey for most of us, hasn't it? So , this weeks search for the best MASCARA, may last for a few weeks!
Over the years we have all tried so many . My latest MASCARA journey has taken me to one of our favorite cosmetic shops, ULTA. (http://www.ulta.com/ulta/index.jsp). Over the last month, I have purchased no less than 3 different MASCARA's...ranging from $15.00 to $22.00. Not one of them has brought satisfaction. Two were almost non-existent, so dry they were almost unnoticeable, and one smudged and was clumpy, and had a very very strong odor upon applying, within only a few moments of application. (and of course, they all were labelled, smudge and clump resistant.) Those BRANDS were PUR, (http://www.purminerals.com/Eyes ), BARE ESSENTUALS (http://www.bareescentuals.com/) , and TWO FACED. (http://www.toofaced.com/).
The other brands I have tried to no avail, have been L'oreal, Rimmel, Maybelline, ORIGINS(http://www.origins.com/)..this last brand I actually loved due to the ingredients list, but I tried it two times and both times it was dry and clumpy...Lancome..( have to admit haven't tried Lancome for quite awhile)...and Chanel. Years ago Chanel had the most incredible dry cake MASCARA. They eventually stopped production due to a shortage on the ingredients I was told.( sad day....) . Someone recently told me that there are a few good, organic, natural MASCARA's out there that I should give a try. I am willing, so hopefully I will be able to report on those too. In the meantime, while IN SEARCH OF THE BEST in MASCARA land goes on, send me your comments! I would love to hear what you have to say! I will get back to you with more reviews as I am IN SEARCH OF THE BEST!
